A first massage can feel intimidating: you are not quite sure what to wear or what to say. Here is what we explain to everyone who comes for the first time, so you arrive relaxed and make the most of the moment.
Before you come
- Avoid a heavy meal in the hour before, and alcohol.
- Arrive five minutes early: time for a herbal tea and a few questions.
- No need to wax or wear make-up: come as you are.
During the treatment
You keep your underwear on, and a towel always covers you, except for the area being massaged. Tell us if the pressure is too firm or too light, if you feel cold or if an area is sensitive: a good massage is one adapted to you, and we will never take offence.
Feel like talking? We talk. Prefer silence? We stay quiet. There is no right or wrong way to receive a massage.
Afterwards
Get up slowly, drink a large glass of water and, if you can, keep the evening calm. The oil goes on nourishing your skin for a few hours, so there is no need to shower straight away.
